Rising Stars: Girls Basketball Camp 2010
The two sessions of Rising Stars basketball camp were completely filled this summer. This camp was about developing leadership, discipline, teamwork, cooperation, and setting goals in life. The camp staff featured experienced former college athletes who inspired the girls to achieve their goals in education. Daily activities included physical conditioning, training and competitions. Evening activities included swimming, movie, bowling, and a pizza party.

The American Red Cross thanks Navajo Prep for supporting relief efforts in Haiti following the 2010 Haiti Earthquake. View the Thank You letter.

Africa, 2009!
Seven Navajo Prep sophomores embarked on the adventure of a lifetime to South Africa. The students traveled in two waves as part of a new program aimed at
showcasing international career opportunities.The Leadership Education and Development, LEAD, program has provided business education seminars for high-schoolers for nearly 30 years, but this is the first
time the program has gone international. The first group left June 14, while the second group departed June 28. Both were in Africa for about

LEAD Global exists to expose American students of color to global career opportunities alongside peers from different countries in one program so that all participants might make better informed decisions when choosing a college or profession. Read more about the LEAD Global program.
